Job Summary
Our client, a reputable Bottled Water Production Company in Alagbado, Lagos, is seeking a diligent and organized Inventory Officer to manage inventory records, monitor stock movements, and ensure the availability and accuracy of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and record incoming raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems or Microsoft Excel.
Monitor stock levels and report low-stock items to management.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and reconciliations.
Track inventory movements between the warehouse, production floor, and dispatch unit.
Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory to minimize losses and damages.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Prepare inventory reports and support periodic audits.
Work closely with the Procurement, Production, and Sales teams to ensure efficient inventory control.
Ensure compliance with company inventory policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum of an OND in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
1–2 years’ experience in inventory or storekeeping, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Required Skills:
Good knowledge of inventory control and stock management principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to perform stock reconciliation and investigate inventory variances.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
High level of integrity, accountability, and reliability.
