Your Role
As a Control Officer, you will be the guardian of our operational integrity—ensuring processes are followed, risks are minimized, and our branches operate at peak efficiency.
You’ll work closely with teams across the institution to uphold our standards and safeguard our mission.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular checks on branch operations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Monitor loan disbursements, repayments, and documentation for accuracy.
Identify and report operational risks, fraud, or irregularities promptly.
Verify cash management processes, inventory, and financial records.
Provide recommendations for process improvement and risk mitigation.
Ensure branches comply with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
Requirementa
Experience in internal control, audit, or compliance: preferably in microfinance or banking.
Strong attention to detail and investigative skills.
Ability to work independently and travel to branch locations.
Excellent report writing and communication skills.
Integrity, resilience, and a commitment to excellence.
