    About the Role
    We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Tyre Manager to lead all tyre management operations at TYard, our truck maintenance and repair facility located along the Sagamu–Benin Expressway.
    The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the complete tyre lifecycle across the TGL fleet, including procurement, installation, maintenance, repairs, inspections, inventory management, and performance monitoring.
    The role is critical to ensuring maximum tyre utilization, vehicle safety, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.
    The Tyre Manager will also drive the commercial growth of TYard by expanding tyre sales and services to third-party truck operators and fleet owners while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
    Key Responsibilities
    Tyre Operations:
    Develop and implement tyre management strategies to maximize tyre lifespan and reduce operating costs.
    Supervise tyre fitting, rotation, balancing, alignment, repairs, retreading, and replacements for heavy-duty vehicles.
    Ensure all fleet vehicles operate with tyres that meet company and regulatory safety standards.
    Monitor tyre performance through regular inspections, tread depth analysis, inflation checks, and wear pattern assessments.
    Investigate premature tyre failures and implement corrective actions.
    Coordinate roadside tyre support and establish a network of approved tyre service providers nationwide.
    Ensure timely availability of tyres and related consumables to support fleet operations.
    Inventory & Asset Management:
    Manage tyre inventory, stock levels, and storage in line with company policies.
    Maintain accurate tyre records, including installation history, movement, lifespan, repairs, and disposal.
    Monitor tyre consumption trends and prepare demand forecasts.
    Coordinate tyre procurement and evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, and delivery performance.
    Implement effective tyre tracking systems to improve accountability and reduce losses.
    Commercial & Customer Management:
    Grow TYard’s third-party tyre sales and maintenance business.
    Prepare quotations, pricing, and service estimates for tyre-related jobs.
    Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet owners, transport operators, and corporate clients.
    Resolve customer complaints promptly while maintaining high service standards.
    Identify new revenue opportunities through tyre products and value-added services.
    Leadership & Team Management:
    Lead, coach, and supervise tyre technicians and support personnel.
    Allocate work effectively to maximize productivity and service delivery.
    Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs for the tyre team.
    Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the department.
    Health, Safety & Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
    Enforce the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

    Requirements
    Education:
    HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Transport Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
    Experience:
    3-5 years’ experience in heavy-duty truck tyre management or commercial fleet maintenance.
    At least a ear experience in a supervisory or management role overseeing tyre operations.
    Proven experience managing tyre inventory, procurement, maintenance, and lifecycle performance for heavy-duty vehicles.
    Experience managing tyre services for external customers and commercial fleet operators is an added advantage.

    Job Summary
    The Fleet Tracking Officer is responsible for monitoring the real-time movement of trucks transporting company products from warehouses to customers and depots.
    The role ensures complete visibility of vehicles in transit, proactively identifies delays, route deviations, security risks, and operational issues, and coordinates timely interventions to ensure safe and on-time deliveries.
    Key Responsibilities
    Real-Time Monitoring:
    Monitor all trucks in transit using GPS tracking systems/fleet management platforms.
    Track truck locations, movement, speed, and estimated time of arrival (ETA).
    Monitor truck seals and delivery milestones where applicable.
    Ensure every dispatched truck remains visible until delivery is completed.
    Transit Coordination:
    Maintain continuous communication with drivers and transport providers.
    Update warehouses, customer service, and sales teams on delivery progress.
    Escalate delays, breakdowns, accidents, security threats, or unauthorized stops.
    Support route optimization and recovery plans where required.
    Incident Management:
    Immediately report truck diversion, hijacking, theft, accidents, or prolonged delays.
    Maintain incident logs and follow up until issues are resolved.

    Compliance:
    Ensure adherence to approved routes and journey management procedures.
