About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Electrical / Instrumentation Facilitator to design and deliver engaging, hands-on training programs for engineers, technicians, and industry professionals.
You will bring real-world field experience into the classroom, translating complex electrical and instrumentation concepts into practical, easy-to-understand learning for participants at various skill levels.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver training curricula covering electrical systems, control & instrumentation, power distribution, PLC basics, and safety practices.
Facilitate classroom, workshop, and hands-on/practical training sessions for corporate and individual clients.
Develop training materials, manuals, case studies, and assessment tools relevant to electrical and instrumentation engineering.
Conduct competency assessments and evaluate trainee performance.
Stay updated with global standards IEC, IEEE, NEC and industry best practices, incorporating them into training content.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and trainees.
Support the consultancy in developing new training modules and improving existing content based on industry trends.
Ensure all training sessions comply with HSE Health, Safety & Environment standards.
Requirements
B.Eng. / B.Sc.Degree / HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field M.Sc. is an advantage.
Minimum of 8 years hands-on experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, preferably within oil & gas, power, or manufacturing sectors.
Prior experience in a training, facilitation, or mentorship role is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of electrical control systems, instrumentation devices, calibration, panel wiring, and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Relevant certifications COREN, IET, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in the use of instructional tools/technology for training delivery.
