Job Description

After an initial training period in our European Headquarters in Luxembourg, you will be based remotely in South Africa as part of our regional sales team reporting to our General Sales Manager. You will be responsible for developing sales for the Southern Africa region (South Africa, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Madagascar, Namibia, Botswana etc.) and frequent travel across the region is required to visit existing customers, find new prospects, market our products and understand market dynamics.
During your initial training period you will have responsibility for inside sales support, coordination and project engineering, developing into all sales activities, including the strengthening of customer relationships, responding to request for information, arranging new customer visits and participating in customer projects as well as prospecting designated territories.

Responsibilities

Comprehensive customer responsibility within the African beverage packaging market
Surveying business potential in various African countries
Acquiring new business
Care of existing customer relations
Fulfillment of turnover goals in business
Compilation of quotations, order reports, etc.
Regular reporting to the General Sales Manager regarding customer and project status.
Updating of customer history and further tools that collect customer data
Keep regular contact with the service department to ensure customer satisfaction. 
Regular widening of Husky product knowledge
Representation of Husky at events and trade shows
Frequent travel to various African countries (60% Travel)
Occasional travel to Luxembourg, UAE, etc.

Qualifications

Engineering qualification or similar experience.
At least a two years’ work experience, preferably in technical sales with high-end technology / capital equipment and with a strong command of the value selling process.
Familiar travelling to and within African countries
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Good time management / organizational skills

Good command of English language.
