Description
Ensure delivery arrives at customer within the time slot as allocated by Chief Inspector of explosives
Safe execution of delivery process
Adhere to public traffic regulations and CIE regulations (80 km/h speed limit)
Ensure explosives seals are intact and corresponds to delivery documentation.
Sign delivery documentation to confirm product has been correctly delivered and obtain customer signature.
Assist customer in offloading the vehicle.
Complete full vehicle inspection sheet before departing from Magazines (Daily)
Ensure vehicle license and explosives Operators card is still valid.
Ensure fire extinguishers are compliant.
Ensure proof of delivery is returned to Administration office for customer invoicing
Requirements
Grade 12
Code 14 driver’s license with valid category “D” Professional Driving Permit
At least 2 years’ experience, preferably within a supply chain explosives environment
Proven experience in explosives product handling and emergency processes (Hazchem)
