Description

The successful candidate will take full ownership of the 1Voucher App growth journey, and over time, lead growth across all 1Voucher card channels. From digital campaigns and partner activations to in-store visibility and distribution, this role is responsible for driving measurable growth across users, usage, and market presence.
Working closely with the Divisional GM, Head of Brand & Marketing, and cross-functional product, marketing, and finance teams, the Growth Lead will be the key driver behind growth strategy, execution, and performance translating opportunity into impact at speed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

User Acquisition & Activation: Co-creating and managing campaigns to drive app downloads and registrations amongst strategically identified target audiences and within key channels.
Engagement & Retention: Developing in-app push notifications, SMS campaigns, and personalised offers to encourage frequent, daily use of the app.
Growth Experimentation (A/B Testing): Rigorously testing, analysing, and optimising different user flows, incentives, marketing messages and activations to improve conversion rates.
Performance Marketing & Analytics: Ensuring that product and marketing channels are set up to track multiple data sources, and utilising data to track metrics such as Lifetime Value (LTV), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and transaction volume.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with product, tech, marketing and digital teams to implement features that boost growth.
Partnership Management: Working with external merchants/partners co-branded promotions that drive adoption. And working with strategic partners (e.g. Pepkor Group) to identify product trial and growth interventions.

Product growth ownership:

As our new product launches, you will be required to:

Assist in managing distribution: help model and execute different, innovative distribution strategies, and report on/and optimise distribution channels
Support go-to-market planning and rollout

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field will be advantageous. 
Minimum 5 years’ experience in product and marketing management, preferably within fintech, financial services, retail and/or technology industries.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful growth strategies for fin tech products (VAS & Crypto, Banking & Payments

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Data Proficiency: Strong analytical skills with experience Excel and data visualisation tools to interpret user behaviour.
Mobile Ecosystem Knowledge: Familiarity with app store optimisation (ASO), iOS/Android app engagement, and mobile ad networks (Facebook, Google Ads). (Beneficial)
Tools: Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms.
