The Presidency is mandated to ensure that the President can execute his constitutional responsibilities in leading and galvanising government and society to implementpresidency the electoral mandate. Over the medium term, the department planned to continue providing support to the President and D… read moreeputy President in the execution of their responsibilities, as outlined in Chapter 5 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa of 1996. The department also planned to focus on enhancing leadership and partnerships through stakeholder engagements to promote the country’s social transformation agenda, facilitating economic growth and job creation, and operationalising the e‐Cabinet system.
REQUIREMENTS :
A Senior Certificate plus an appropriate Degree in Economics/Social Science/Public Policy/ Research or equivalent qualification (NQF level 7). A postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage. A minimum of 5 years’ middle/senior managerial experience.
DUTIES :
Provide guidance and support to Government on implementation of SEIAS and the National Policy Development Framework to achieve evidence-based policy formulation. Analyse and quality assure SEIAS reports of Departments. Produce SEIAS related knowledge products such as articles, policy briefs and advisory notes.
