What will you do?
The Receptionist acts as the primary front office management representative, managing both the visitor experience and supporting administrative facility operations. Receives visitors to the organisation, determining their needs and directing them accordingly.
Answers general queries and directs them to the relevant personnel or department. May also perform routine typing, clerical or secretarial duties and be responsible for switchboard operations. Contributes towards the image of the Company.

Customer Service Management:
Responsible for providing a compliant, professional, safe and welcoming front desk service, managing visitor flow, controlling access, coordinating communications and providing administrative support.
Interacts with operational and first-line supervisory/management personnel within the client/user area.
Demonstrates the ability to influence clients.
Participates in meetings with users along with the managers.
Responds to user service requests.
Keeps clients informed of status via standard reporting techniques.
Meets continuing and unplanned service requirements without disruption in service levels.
Successfully gains access to both clients and consumers.
Customer Contact Management
Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully manage contact with customers in situations of moderate difficulty.
Ad hoc reporting and support where required.
Has working knowledge and experience or training accessing information to prepare reports.
Working knowledge, effective management and experience in switchboard management and control.
Facilities & Administrative Support
Schedule and coordinate meeting room bookings and ensure they are ready for use.
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the reception area, meeting rooms and front office common areas.
Support Facilities Management with reporting maintenance issues and coordinating vendors.
Qualification and experience
Completed Grade 12 qualification
Minimum of 5 years related experience
Certification in office administration or front-of-house management will be advantageous.
