Description
Use of applicable surveying equipment
Use of applicable surveying techniques
Proficient in relevant technical systems and software packages such as Datamine, 3D CaD packages, Winminop, Geomos, 3D-Reshaper, Synchro Mine.
Use applicable administrative systems (Microsoft Office)
Month end measurements and calculations and reporting of measurements.
Installation of survey pegs, direction lines and grade elevations pegs
LiDAR scanning using SLAM technology.
Knowledge in creating 3D-Models
Complete surveying exercises with relevant checks
Participate in cost saving initiatives
Render a professional customer service
Manage subordinates on daily basis
Train/mentor coach and develop subordinates

Requirements
Grade 12 qualification with Mathematics and Physical Science
Elementary Survey Certificate and Elementary Mine Valuation
C.O.M. Advance Survey Certificate or National Diploma_Minearals Surveying(advantageous)
B-Tech_Minerals Resources Management/ BsC_Mine Surveying
Minimum 3 years’ experience as an underground surveyor or survey intern /graduate
Valid Certificate of physical fitness
Ability to read and write in English
Ability to communicate with people on different levels
Drivers License
