Role Purpose

The Technical Lead will be responsible for the end-to-end software development lifecycle of the Actimize Application Suite, including development, customization, unit testing, system testing, and production support across Windows-based environments (Cloud and On-Premises). This role will provide technical leadership while ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable, and compliant AML (Anti-Money Laundering) solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

Lead the design, development, and customization of the Actimize platform.
Provide technical direction and mentorship to development teams.
Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.
Act as the primary technical escalation point for Actimize-related issues.

Actimize Platform Development

Develop and enhance components within the Actimize Application Suite, including:
AIS Server and ActOne Application
AML SAM (Suspicious Activity Monitoring)
AML CDD (Customer Due Diligence)
AML WLX (Watch List Filtering)
Customize Actimize modules using its proprietary development framework and scripting language.
Design and implement business rules, workflows, and alerts within AML systems.

System Architecture & Integration

Work on a custom in-house platform underpinning Actimize solutions.
Design and maintain integrations with external systems, APIs, and data sources.
Ensure efficient data processing and performance optimization within database environments.

Cloud & Infrastructure

Support deployments across Windows-based environments, both on-premise and cloud.
Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams on CI/CD pipelines and environment management.
Ensure system stability, scalability, and security.

Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with business stakeholders, compliance teams, and product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Provide technical input into AML strategies and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Support audits, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Support & Maintenance

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative measures.
Ensure system uptime and reliability through proactive monitoring.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with NICE Actimize (AIS, ActOne, SAM, CDD, WLX).
Proven experience in AML systems and financial crime compliance solutions.
Experience working with Actimize proprietary development tools and scripting.
Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, or similar).
Experience in Windows Server environments.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) is advantageous.
Strong experience in system integration, APIs, and enterprise application architecture.
Ability to lead technical teams and deliver complex solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Relevant certifications in Actimize, AML, or cloud technologies (advantageous).
