MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12
Traffic Diploma (Basic Training)
2-5 years’ relevant experience
Valid Code EB driver licence
Police clearance – no criminal record
Basic Computer Literacy
Physical fitness
Knowledge of National Road Traffic Act
Excellent Knowledge of the “BATHO PELE” Principles
Be prepared to work overtime and flexi hours
Firearm proficiency
Proficient in at least two of the official languages of the Western Cape
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Traffic Law Enforcement
Traffic control (Point duty)
Emergency calls (accidents, disasters, etc.)
Enforcement of Municipal by-laws
