Job Description
The following positions have arisen within the City of Bulawayo:WORKS DEPARTMENT.1.a. JOURNEYMAN BRICKLAYER- GRADE 8 (1 POST) MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB SUMMARY
Duties and Responsibilities
Constructs and maintains Council buildings• Leads and manages the bricklaying teams, toolsand equipment.• Assesses, estimates and orders materials for maintenance.Compiles and submits labour, transport and materials returns.• Supervises subordinates.
Qualifications and Experience
2. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS3. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS• A Skilled Worker Class 1 in the Trade of Bricklaying.• A clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence.• At least 4 years’ experience in a similar working environment.
