Key Responsibilities
Manage Complex Reservations: Handle a variety of booking requests, including high-value or intricate itineraries, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Customer Service Excellence: Provide top-tier customer service, answering inquiries via phone, email, and live chat, resolving issues in a timely manner.
Travel Advisory: Offer expert advice and recommendations on destinations, travel options, accommodations, and other travel services.
Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any challenges or issues clients may face during the booking process or their journey.
Mentorship & Training: Support junior team members by providing guidance, sharing best practices, and ensuring that the team meets service standards.
Sales Targets: Achieve individual and team sales targets while maintaining a high level of service quality.
System Management: Utilize the reservations system effectively, ensuring all bookings are entered accurately and updated as required.
Administrative Duties: Process booking amendments, cancellations, and refunds as necessary, keeping detailed and accurate records.
Requirements
Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a reservations, customer service, or travel consultancy role, preferably within the travel or hospitality sector.
Education: Diploma in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality or Business Administration
Customer-Focused: Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional service, with a passion for helping others.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple client inquiries simultaneously.
Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with reservation systems and general office software.
Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and resolve issues quickly while maintaining a positive customer experience.
Team Player: Able to work collaboratively within a team, while also being self-motivated and confident working independently.
Experience in a supervisory or senior role within a reservations team
