Key Responsibilities
The engineer will conceptualize, design, and actively oversee the installation of massive capital assets, including primary ventilation fan stations, complex underground dewatering networks, and heavy conveyor systems.
The incumbent must ensure absolute, uncompromising adherence to rigorous mechanical and civil engineering standards, while managing project budgets and contractor deliverables to prevent cost overruns.
This role will also encompass the management and maintainence of a large fleet of undeground mining TMM equipment.
Requirements
The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) and mandatory Professional Registration with the ERB.
The candidate must demonstrate a minimum of 15 years of proven project delivery experience within a heavy industrial or underground mining environment, showcasing an ability to manage multidisciplinary engineering teams through complex installations.
Experience in high-speed development mining environments is required.
