We are looking for a detail-oriented and trustworthy Accountant to support our day-to-day financial operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Record daily sales, expenses, and payments in the accounting system
Reconcile M-Pesa, bank, and till transactions on a daily basis
Prepare weekly and monthly financial summaries and reports for management
Process supplier invoices and coordinate timely payments
Maintain and update petty cash records accurately
Track inventory/stock costs and flag any discrepancies.
Support monthly stock-takes and assist with end-of-month closing reports
Assist with payroll preparation — collating attendance, leave records, and statutory deductions.
Support filing of VAT, PAYE, NSSF, NHIF/SHA, and other statutory returns.
Manage customer/client accounts and follow up on outstanding payments
Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records and documentation
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
CPA secrion 2
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar accounting or finance support role
Proficiency in accounting systems
Familiarity with KRA iTax, NSSF, and NHIF/SHA portals is a plus
Strong attention to detail and a high level of integrity
Good communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
A proactive team player who is eager to learn and grow
