Position Overview

Our client, a leading private healthcare facility in Nairobi, is seeking to recruit an experienced Pharmacist with 3–5 years of professional experience to take on a clinical and leadership-focused role within the pharmacy unit.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality clinical pharmacy services, while overseeing daily operations, mentoring staff, and driving continuous improvement in patient care and medication management.

Key Responsibilities

Provide clinical pharmacy services, including prescription review, therapeutic monitoring, and clinical interventions.
Lead and manage the pharmacy unit’s day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and quality service delivery.
Offer clinical guidance and decision support to healthcare professionals.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
Supervise, mentor, and support pharmacy staff.
Participate in clinical audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives.
Oversee medication management, inventory control, and documentation.
Contribute to the development of policies, clinical protocols, and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
Valid Pharmacist license/registration.
3–5 years of relevant clinical pharmacy experience.
Proven leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
