Job Purpose
Talent Grid Africa, on behalf of our client, a state-of-the-art, international-standard private hospital located in Djibouti City is looking for a Systems Integration Administrator who will be responsible for the administration, integration, optimization, and support of the organization’s Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and other clinical information systems. The role ensures seamless interoperability between imaging, laboratory, medical devices, Hospital Information Systems (HIS), and enterprise applications to support efficient clinical workflows, accurate data exchange, and high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
• Administer, configure, and optimize the PACS environment, ensuring high system availability,
performance, and secure management of diagnostic imaging systems.
• Manage and support the integration of PACS with HIS, LIS/LIMS, RIS, ERP, medical devices, and other clinical applications to ensure seamless interoperability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize clinical system performance, data integrity, and digital workflows to support efficient patient care and operational excellence.
• Provide technical and functional support to clinical users, conduct user training, and develop system documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with clinical, IT, and infrastructure teams to support networking, medical device integration, system upgrades, and technology enhancement initiatives.
• Coordinate with vendors and implementation partners to deliver system implementations, upgrades, testing, maintenance, and go-live activities while ensuring compliance with healthcare IT standards.
• Analyse system performance, prepare operational reports, and recommend continuous improvements to enhance system reliability, workflow efficiency, and user satisfaction.
• Support the organization’s digital transformation initiatives by ensuring secure, reliable, and integrated healthcare technology solutions that align with business and clinical objectives.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Health Informatics, Radiography/Radiology Technology (with IT specialization), or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience in a hospital environment is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience administering PACS and supporting enterprise clinical systems.
• Strong experience integrating HIS, PACS, LIS/LIMS, RIS, ERP systems, and medical devices
• Professional proficiency in French and English is highly desirable.
