Job Description
Job Requirements: Academic and Professional Qualifications::
Pursuant to Section 26 1 b and 3 of the Energy Act, 2019, a person to be appointed as a Member of Energy and Petroleum Tribunal must possess the following qualifications.
Hold a law degree from a recognized university,
Be an advocate of the High Court of Kenya,
Have knowledge and experience in law, petroleum, and energy
Must not be in the employment of the Government, Agency, or the Authority
Must be a citizen of Kenya;
Be a member of the relevant professional association in good standing
Qualification and experience in alternative dispute resolution will be an added advantage.
Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution on leadership and integrity.
