We are seeking to recruit a highly competent and results-oriented professional to join our Enterprise Applications & Digital Transformation Practice in the following role:

Role Purpose:
The Revenue Assurance Consultant will be responsible for business process analysis, solution design, implementation, testing, training, and support of Revenue Assurance, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Receipting, Revenue Recognition, Income Management, Reconciliation, and Collections processes within ERP environments.

The role will support implementation projects involving Oracle ERP, Microsoft Dynamics, Property Management Systems, Banking Integrations, Revenue Management Systems, Investment Management Platforms and related enterprise applications.

The successful candidate will work closely with client finance teams, revenue departments, business users, implementation partners and technical teams to ensure revenue streams are accurately captured, reconciled, recognized and reported in accordance with applicable accounting standards, internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Revenue Assurance Process Analysis & Design
Conduct business process mapping, requirements gathering and fit-gap analysis for Revenue Assurance functions.
Analyze billing, receipting, collections, revenue recognition and reconciliation processes.
Develop Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), process flows and solution design documentation.
Facilitate stakeholder workshops, requirements validation sessions and design reviews.
Document current-state and future-state business processes.
2. Revenue Recognition & Income Management
Configure and support revenue recognition processes within ERP environments.
Design and validate revenue recognition schedules, accrual rules and recognition workflows.
Support implementation of recurring billing, lease revenue, service revenue and contract revenue recognition models.
Reconcile recognized revenue against General Ledger balances and source systems.
Support compliance with IFRS and applicable accounting standards governing revenue recognition.
3. Billing, Receipting & Collections
Support implementation of billing and invoicing workflows.
Configure customer receipting and payment allocation processes.
Design controls for automated and manual receipt matching.
Review reconciliation reports and exception handling procedures.
Support collections tracking and customer account management processes.
Assist clients in improving revenue capture and reducing revenue leakage.
4. Reconciliations & Financial Controls
Design and support income, receivables and asset reconciliation processes.
Perform data validation and reconciliation between source systems and ERP platforms.
Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end reconciliation activities.
Develop reconciliation templates, reports and control frameworks.
Identify process gaps, control weaknesses and opportunities for automation.
5. ERP Implementation & Support
Participate in ERP implementation, upgrade and optimization projects.
Prepare configuration documentation, test scripts and user acceptance testing scenarios.
Conduct system testing and defect resolution.
Support data migration, validation and cutover activities.
Provide post-go-live support and stabilization services.
6. Training & Change Management
Develop user manuals, SOPs and training materials.
Conduct end-user and super-user training.
Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions.
Support organizational change management initiatives during ERP implementation projects.
7. Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement
Prepare project status reports and functional design documentation.
Engage client finance, revenue and audit teams.
Participate in steering committee meetings and project reviews.
Support audit queries and regulatory reporting requirements where applicable.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, Information Systems, Business Information Technology, Business Administration or related field.
CPA (K), ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
ERP Functional Certification in Oracle ERP, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, IFS or related platforms will be an added advantage.
Professional certification in Business Analysis, Project Management or Revenue Assurance will be an added advantage.
Required Experience
Minimum three (3) years’ experience in Finance, Revenue Assurance, ERP Consulting or Business Systems Implementation.
Demonstrated experience implementing or supporting ERP Finance and Revenue Management solutions.
Experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Revenue Recognition, Receipting, Reconciliation and Financial Controls.
Experience working with Oracle ERP, Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central, SAP or similar enterprise systems.
Experience developing business process documentation and functional specifications.
Exposure to Government, Financial Services, Real Estate, Utilities, Telecommunications or Development Sector projects will be an added advantage.
