Job Description
South B Hospital
is seeking to engage a qualified and experienced
Locum Nurse
to support service delivery in the
Outpatient (OPD)
Department.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, triage, and provide quality nursing care to patients in the OPD.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist during resuscitation procedures.
Monitor patients’ conditions and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Collaborate with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Uphold infection prevention, patient safety, and quality standards.
Requirements
Diploma or or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Valid registration and current practicing license from the
Nursing Council of Kenya
.
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS certification will be an added advantage.
At least one (1) year of experience in an Outpatient and/or Accident & Emergency setting.
Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
