Job Summary:
Oceans Creek Hotel is seeking a responsible and vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests at our pool and waterfront facilities.
Key Responsibilities:Supervise guests in and around pool and beach areas, ensuring safety and enforcing rules.Respond quickly and effectively to all water-related emergencies and incidents.Provide immediate first aid or CPR when necessary.Monitor weather conditions and adjust safety protocols as needed.Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of poolside areas and equipment.Conduct regular safety checks and report hazards or maintenance issues.Educate guests on safe swimming practices and enforce hotel safety guidelines.Maintain daily logs and incident reports.Participate in regular training and safety drills.Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years old.Current Lifeguard Certification from a recognized authority (e.g., Red Cross, YMCA, Ellis & Associates).Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification required.Previous lifeguarding experience preferred, especially in a hotel or resort setting.Strong observational and problem-solving skills.Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Work Environment:Outdoor and indoor pool settings.Exposure to varying weather conditions.Standing for extended periods, occasional lifting of pool equipment.Join Us:At Oceans Creek Hotel, we pride ourselves on offering top-tier guest experiences in a relaxing coastal environment.
