Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Engineer (Maintenance) to join our maintenance team. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity for recent engineering graduates to gain practical experience in industrial maintenance while working alongside experienced professionals. The successful candidate will support preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities Assist in carrying out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery. Support equipment inspections, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting activities. Participate in maintenance planning and scheduling to minimize equipment downtime. Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance issues. Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare technical reports. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Assist in identifying opportunities for process and equipment improvements. Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to support operational requirements. Learn and apply maintenance best practices, standards, and company procedures. Perform any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Manager. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Recent graduates or candidates with up to one year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Basic knowledge of industrial maintenance principles and engineering practices. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is an advantage. Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
