    Key duties and responsibilities
    Must be fully committed to working safely and be responsible for the safe working practices of the crew
    Assist the Master/OIM in identifying jobs which may require a Risk Assessment
    Undertake duties as allocated or directed by the Chief Engineer
    Undertake operational maintenance, planned maintenance and repairs on the mechanical equipment throughout the rig
    Deputize as necessary for the Chief Engineer
    Keep himself informed regarding power consumption and distribution according to requirements and complying with the Permit to Work/Isolation systems
    Notify the Chief Engineer of requirements for spare parts, materials or services.
    Required skills and experience
    Minimum 2nd Class Motor Certificate of Competency, unlimited STCW ’95
    Previous experience as Senior Mechanic on deep water drillship
    Minimum 5 years related experience
    Must have experience supervising repairs
    HV MCA 4
    Management of Major Emergencies.

    Assist the Master/OIM in identifying jobs which may require a Risk Assessment
    Ensure the safe and cost-effective operation of mechanical and electrical equipment in compliance with statutory regulations and the company’s procedures
    Ensure the general safety training of personnel within their area of work is carried out
    Supervise repairs, inspections, maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment
    Monitor continuous machinery surveys according to Classification Societies.
    Required skills and experience
    Current 1st Class Motor Certificate of Competence – Chief Engineer
    Previous experience as Chief Engineer on deep water drillship
    20 years relative experience
    Must have experience supervising repairs
    HV MCA 4
    Management of Major Emergencies
    IWCF Well Control – Level 2.

    Maintain the Installation POB documentation & update the Muster lists, Helicopter passenger lists & evacuation lists as required by the Master/OIM
    Liaise with the camp boss on the correct cabin allocation as per the POB updates
    Advise the Master/OIM, Barge master & HLO on the helicopter scheduling.
    Required skills and experience
    Good knowledge of computer programs Word/Excel/PowerPoint VHF/UHF
    Previous offshore administration experience
    Minimum 3 years related experience
    GMDSS GOC

    Assist in the issue, control and inventory of lifting equipment from the Lifting Gear Locker
    Ensure lifting equipment is checked before issue and is fit for purpose
