Job Description
Main function:
Overseeing lounge operations, including managing staff, ensuring exceptional
Guest service and satisfaction, controlling costs and driving revenue for the
Lounge, and maintaining compliance with hotel and legal standards
Reports Directly to
: GM/Chairman
Key Responsibilities
Implementing service standards, managing inventory and supplies, maintaining the lounge’s ambiance and presentation, resolving guest issues, and collaborating on marketing and sales initiatives to attract patronage.
Ensure various programs run that will attract people to lounge weekly.
Come up with a major program that is unique to the lounge on a monthly basis that will pull diverse crowd and increase visibility.
Brand promotion.
Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
Be familiar with all of 18 hours services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
Anticipate guest’s needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Development and implementation of new international trends to set exceedingly expected standards within the industry
Work with the event manager to Coordinate entertainment, ensuring correct vibe and appropriateness to clientèle.
Establish par levels for supplies, liquor, beer, wine and equipment. Complete requisitions to replenish shortages or additional items needed for the anticipated business.
Responsibility for all beverage purchases, inventories and stock levels within the operation.
Regularly check storage areas for proper supplies, organization and cleanliness.
Review sales and beverage costs for previous day; resolve discrepancies with accounting. Track actual against budget.
Conduct pre-shift meeting with staff and review all information pertinent to the day’s business.
Prepare weekly work schedules in accordance with staffing guidelines and labour forecasts. Adjust schedules throughout the week to meet the business demands.
Ensure that staff report to work as scheduled.
Any other assigned task by management.
