Job Summary
Spectranet is seeking a high-performing Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth, customer acquisition, and market expansion within an assigned territory.
This role is strictly for candidates with prior sales experience at OPay.
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of leading sales teams, driving merchant acquisition, and consistently achieving ambitious sales targets within the fintech industry.
Key Responsibilities
Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
Lead, coach, and manage field sales teams.
Develop and execute territory sales strategies.
Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
Build and maintain strong customer and partner relationships.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
Prepare sales reports and performance forecasts.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
4 – 6 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Must have worked with OPay in a sales-related role.
Applications from candidates without OPay experience will not be considered.
Proven experience in payments, agency banking, merchant acquisition, POS, or digital financial services through OPay.
Proven experience managing field sales teams and consistently meeting sales targets.
Strong business development, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
