Role Description
This is a full-time, role based in Lagos, The Business Development Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build a strong pipeline of prospects, and convert qualified leads into long-term customers.
Daily tasks include conducting market research, qualifying inbound and outbound leads, preparing proposals and quotes, and presenting solar solutions that address customer needs.
The role involves managing client accounts, maintaining regular communication, coordinating with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth project delivery, and tracking performance against sales targets.
The Business Development Executive will also participate in sales meetings, networking events, and customer visits to grow brand awareness and revenue.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong New Business Development and Lead Generation skills, with a proven ability to create and manage a sales pipeline.
Candidates should possess solid Business and Account Management skills to nurture client relationships and support long-term customer success.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and confident presentation abilities.
Experience in sales or business development, ideally in solar, renewable energy, or related technical solutions.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and meet defined targets with minimal supervision.
Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Comfort with CRM tools, basic data analysis, and Microsoft Office or similar productivity software.
