A CPA, ACCA, or CFA shows you have great skills.
You must know how to track the cost
You build number models to predict future growth.
You use past data to guess if you will make money next year.
You must follow tax laws and accounting rules, such as GAAP
You manage a team of accountants. You help them do their jobs well.
You turn complex numbers into simple stories for the CEO.
You help the boss make good choices. If the company wants to open a new store, you figure out if they can afford it.
You spot money problems before they happen.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business. An MBA is a big plus.
At least 10 years of experience as a Finance Manager or Controller.
