Job Overview
Our client is recruiting a proactive and experienced HR Officer to support and manage the day-to-day human resource operations of their growing organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR administration, and policy implementation while ensuring compliance with labor regulations and company policies.
This role requires a well-rounded HR professional who can balance operational efficiency with employee engagement in a fast-paced environment.
Ultimately, you will contribute to building a productive workforce by supporting effective HR processes, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring the organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and employee documentation.
Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and personnel files.
Implement and ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and labor regulations.
Support performance management processes, including appraisals, goal setting, and employee development initiatives.
Handle employee relations matters, address workplace concerns, and support conflict resolution.
Coordinate staff onboarding, orientation, and offboarding activities.
Monitor employee attendance, leave administration, and other HR records.
Support training and development initiatives to improve employee performance and engagement.
Prepare HR reports and provide insights to support management decision-making.
Promote a positive workplace culture while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Human Resources role.
Professional HR certification CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
