Job Summary
The Learning & Development L&D Specialist will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization’s learning and development initiatives.
The role requires an experienced professional who can establish and drive the L&D function with minimal supervision by identifying learning needs, developing competency-based learning programs, creating engaging training content, and evaluating learning effectiveness to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the organization’s learning and development strategy.
Conduct training needs assessments and identify capability gaps.
Design competency-based learning programs, curricula, and learning pathways.
Develop and deliver blended learning solutions, including instructor-led and digital learning content.
Facilitate training sessions and support internal trainers where required.
Manage learning platforms and leverage learning technologies to enhance learner engagement.
Monitor, evaluate, and report on learning effectiveness using relevant metrics.
Partner with business leaders to align learning initiatives with organizational goals.
Continuously improve learning programs based on feedback and performance data.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, Learning & Development, or a related field.
4–8 years of experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, or Talent Development.
Proven experience designing learning strategies, competency-based programs, and training curricula from the ground up.
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning technologies.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive learning initiatives with minimal supervision.
