The Banking Advisor Academy role involves proactively managing a portfolio of affluent clients alongside a team of Private Bankers, focusing on analysis, research, sales, and service fulfillment to identify opportunities for acquiring new clients and expanding existing client portfolios. Incubation training period of 3-6 months.  Key responsibilities include building trust-based relationships, fostering a culture of service excellence, marketing financial services solutions, managing the leads pipeline to drive profit growth, and consistently delivering high-quality outputs within set deadlines.

Minimum Qualification – RE5 Certificate with a Degree NQF7 (FSCA Approved) level in Finance or Accounting
Experience Required – 2 to 3 years’ experience within a Sales/Service area of a financial environment, Banking would be preferred.

Qualifications

Matric / Grade 12

Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in short term insurance, commercial lines and/or Agri assets  
Good understanding of contact centre processes, systems (namely, Policy Centre, Avaya, USD, NQR, Mainframe and WebE). 
Coaching skills and experience
Previous Quality Assurance experience advantageous 
Excellent computer literacy, particularly Intermediate Excel 
Report writing experience an advantage
Experience in a client service environment 
Experience in contact centre technology applications 
Good understanding of basic financial principles, e.g. profit, growth, etc. 
Good understanding of contact centre processes and SLA’s

What will you do?

Technical Leadership

Experience / a keen interest in mentorship, teamwork and collaboration
Senior Developers need extensive experience and/or understanding of designing, developing and testing distributed, high-volume and highly reliable software. Business and operational awareness, as well as experience with cloud-based infrastructure is also required.

Engineering & Operational Excellence

Understanding of scalability, robustness, operational visibility and agility

Description
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

 To provide a quality assurance service for Kidswear apparel within the Pep Merchandise department, Supply Chain and Suppliers, ensuring all garments meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards specific to infants and toddlers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assessment and feedback of  fit,  pre-production and production samples from suppliers.
Work as part of the Product Development team to create new silhouettes and shapes.
Compile and create  technical briefs and size specifications tailored for Kids. 
Approval/rejection of fabric testing reports, component testing reports in line with safety and legal requirements.
Communicate changes to  suppliers by providing technical feedback and diagrams.
Assist with the creation of  technical manuals in accordance with Pep’s processes and standards.
Ensure all babywear complies with South African safety regulations and legislation (e.g. drawstring safety, small parts testing).
Conduct bulk audit assessments with a focus on potential safety hazards.
Store visits to assess quality/ compliance of products delivered.
Ad hoc duties (as contracted per project).

Requirements

JOB  INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

Related Tertiary qualification, plus a minimum of 5-10 years related industry/retail work experience.
Strong knowledge of safety and legal compliance requirements for baby clothing in South Africa.
Knowledge of pattern making will be an advantage.
Experience in grading and garment fit and measuring. 
Thorough knowledge and understanding of the garment stitch types & knits construction.
Strong commercial eye to identify fit for purpose
Exposure to in-house systems (e.g. Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) or internet based systems
PC Literate: Google Suite will be an advantage
Corel Draw / Illustrator would be an advantage
