    Job Description

    the ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up machines on production lines and ensuring that the machines achieve the required output speeds with minimal waste.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    Grade 12 or equivalent
    Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a machine operator
    Experience with Triumph machines is advantageous
    Knowledge of bag-making processes, packing, and flexographic printing processes is advantageous

    Responsibilities

    Set up machines and maintain machine setup standards within the business
    Perform changeovers between product lines
    Conduct operator maintenance on machines
    Plan efficient workflows to meet production targets and deadlines
    Diagnose and resolve faults
    Monitor quality
    Optimize the utilization of resources to ensure minimal waste, maximum productivity, and work efficiency
    Adhere to all Health and Safety legislative requirements and meet required standards
    Conduct routine daily analyses
    Manage and establish all standards for product evaluation
    Facilitate training for machine operators to meet required standards

    Requirements
    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

    Grade 12

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

    6 months relevant experience

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

    Create job cards.
    Create pro-forma invoices for job cards.
    Create orders for external vendors on job cards.
    Deposit daily bank.
    Ensure the risk file (GMR) is up to date and all forms are signed off.
    Build and maintain sound relationships with internal and external clients and promptly respond to/resolve client queries.

    TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES          

    Basic knowledge of workshop administration
    Computer literacy (MS Office)
    Understanding of parts and maintenance items to be ordered

    Education, Skills and Experience

    Education

    4-year tertiary qualification in relevant or related field

    Experience

    Min 5 years of experience in Brand and Marketing
    Proven experience in executing Go-To- Market (GTM) strategies for B2C and B2B segments.
    Experience managing trade marketing, sponsorships, events, and digital marketing initiatives.
    Demonstrated ability to manage regional marketing operations and align activities to central strategies.
    Industry experience in telecommunications or a related sector is preferred.
    Worked across diverse cultures and geographies advantageous
