    Job Title: Team Support – Quality Assurance
    Mission:
    The mission is to be responsible for taking product development initiatives from conception through to execution and supporting system improvements and quality assurance through testing.

    Creates and executes detailed test scripts, test plans and test cases outlining various scenarios and recommendations for failure remediation, to support new product development and enhancements;

    Job Summary:

    2. Customs Documentation:

    Receive, inspect, and submit customs documents to appropriate customs officers and clearing agents
    Ensure documents are received, inspected, and submitted in a timely manner.
    Inspect documents for quality (cleanliness, arrangement) during exchanges at the border and brief drivers accordingly.

    3. Driver Management:

    Ensure drivers are disciplined and in full uniform while at the border.
    Promote adherence to safety standards at the border at all times.

    4. Stakeholder Coordination:

    Develop and maintain relationships with government officials (customs, police, and immigration) and non-government officials (clearing agents) to ensure smooth border operations.
    Coordinate with direct report lines on daily border updates.

    5. System Utilization:

    Use Alistair systems to record and document every update.
    Ensure runners on both sides of the borders (including Kasumbalesa, Mokambo, and Sakania) utilize existing Alistair systems to monitor truck movements and provide relevant updates to internal and external stakeholders.

    6. Team Management:

    Manage and coach subordinates to ensure efficient border operations.

    7. Reporting and Feedback:

    Proactively report on all potential challenges (internal and external) that could hinder the smooth flow of trucks at the border.
    Provide necessary feedback and support to existing and potential external/internal stakeholders.

    8. Safety and Compliance:

    Promote adherence to safety standards at the border at all times.
    Ensure all activities comply with company policies and procedures.

    9. Process Improvement:

    Safeguard the health and safety of the children and promote their well-being at all time
    Register and monitor learners’ attendance.
    Promote the personal and social well-being of individual learners and any class or group of learners assigned to him/her.
    Provide guidance and advice to learners on educational and social matters.
    Make records of, and reports on, the personal and social needs of learners including incident records/files
    Communicate and consult with parents, and others concerned with the welfare and progress of the learners under his/her care.
    Participate in meetings arranged for any of the purposes described above, whether during or outside school hours.
    Attend assemblies, parent-teacher conferences, orientation evenings, and events as appropriate.
    Ensure children are wearing the correct uniform according to the school’s Dress Code and to be seen to be supporting and promoting the school’s Dress Code.
    Promote and uphold the school’s Vision & Mission statements.

    PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

    Participate in the appraisal of his/her performance and that of other teachers according to the School’s appraisal policy.
    Regularly review his/her methods of teaching.
    Participate in arrangements for further training and professional development as a teacher as appropriate.
    Provide professional development/ staff training as required in the field of Technology Integration

    STAFF MEETINGS

    Participate in all whole Staff Meetings / CPD sessions and all meetings which relate to the teacher’s professional duties whether during or outside school hours.

    MANAGEMENT

    Contribute as appropriate to the professional development of other teachers and non-teaching staff, including the induction of teachers new to the school.
    Co-ordinate or manage the work of the Laboratory Technician, or non-teaching staff when required.
    Promote Biology, Chemistry and Physics across the school, taking the initiative to lead the school toward greater tech integration.

    Perform daily cleaning of all occupied and unoccupied rooms including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
    Change bed linens, replace towels, and ensure proper laundering of all bedding and linen items.
    Ensure bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas are spotless and in hygienic condition at all times.
    Report any damages or maintenance needs (e.g., plumbing leaks, broken furniture) to the Workshop Manager promptly.
    Wash, dry, and iron bed linens, blankets, and towels regularly.
    Organize clean laundry for easy access and rotation.
    Ensure damaged or stained linen is reported and separated for replacement or deep cleaning.
    Maintain a check-in/check-out logbook or digital system to track lodge usage by drivers, interns, mechanics, and other staff
