    MAIN DUTY:
     
     
    To ensure that all contractual aspects of a project are managed effectively and efficiently.
     
     
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
     
     

    Facilitate project closure and handover.

    Manage Project Managers, Site Agents and their teams.

    Set objectives together with site teams and ensure they are executed.

    Ensure that projects stay within budget and manage any financial discrepancies.

    Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with all set terms and conditions.

    Plan the necessary workforce and ensure optimal resource allocation and management.

    Applying the principles for monitoring and controlling minor and major construction activities.

    Maintain detailed records of all contracts, including amendments and communications.

    Handle any disputes or conflicts that arise during the project and facilitate resolutions with stakeholders.

    Execute any other morally reasonable assignments to meet the exigencies of service.

    Delivering and collection of freight around Botswana.

    Delivering and collection of freight to and from all over SA, Botswana and Namibia.

    Operational requirements are on a 24-hour basis. Business requirements will dictate working hours required.

    Tying down of own freight once loaded at the in-house and Customers.

    Closing of freight with sails and nets before departing for routes, ensuring freight is safe at all times on routes checking the freight.

    Using scanners for all deliveries and making sure all POD’s and delivery notes are returned and scanned.

    Ensuring Health and Safety Rules / Housekeeping standards are adhered to at all times.

    Be able to adhere to specific timeframes and ensure daily tasks are completed within timeframe.

    Minimum Requirements

    Valid passport

    Minimum of 5 years’ working experience as Extra Heavy-duty driver.
