Job Description
A Fashion Designer is a creative professional responsible for designing clothing, accessories, and fashion collections according to current trends, customer preferences, and market demands. They combine creativity, artistic skills, and technical knowledge to develop original designs from concept to final product.
• Design and develop new clothing collections according to market trends and customer requirements. • Create sketches, design concepts, and technical drawings for garments. • Research current fashion trends, fabrics, colours, and styles. • Select appropriate fabrics, materials, trims, and accessories for designs. • Prepare samples and work closely with pattern makers and production teams. • Make adjustments to designs based on fitting sessions and quality requirements. • Ensure garments are produced according to design specifications and standards. • Monitor the development process from concept to final product. • Maintain awareness of emerging fashion trends and industry developments. • Collaborate with team members to achieve production deadlines and customer expectations
