    Key duties and responsibilities
    Control all Drilling Operations performed during their shift in a safe and efficient manner
    Responsible for ensuring the Floorman, Derrickman and Assistant Drillers are correctly deployed for ongoing and upcoming operations, and that they are familiar with the equipment in use and its safe operation
    Execute instructions from the Driller and Toolpusher
    Ensure the drilling operation is carried out as defined in the approved Operator’s Instructions and Drilling Programme, and the operation is executed in accordance with Stena’s Drilling Operation Manual and RSWMs
    Responsible for ensuring the Drilling Crew perform Planned Maintenance on drilling equipment thoroughly and timely, and that it is recorded on the PM sheets.
    Required skills and experience
    Previous experience on similar installation with dual operations and ram rig
    Sound demonstrable knowledge of Managed Pressure Drilling Operations
    5 years relative experience
    Excellent communication skills
    IWCF Well Control – Level 3 Driller.

    Responsible for all lifting activities on their assigned well center or area

    Must regularly liaise with the Bridge regarding the station keeping capabilities of the rig where applicable.

    Key duties and responsibilities
    Ensure all MPD operations are conducted safely and efficiently in compliance with all of Stena Drilling’s MPD policies and procedures and the clients Drilling Program
    Ensure the Well Control philosophy for a given MPD well and/or hole section is clearly defined and understood by crews ahead of operations
    Ensure regular drills are conducted and documented to cover MPD specific Well Control, Riser Gas Handling and Contingency scenarios
    Review the clients MPD Program to verify that it can be executed in alignment with existing Stena Drilling policy and procedure
    Where gaps in policy or procedure are identified, liaise with Rig Management and Aberdeen Operations to develop solutions as applicable
    Ensure MPD system readiness for all upcoming operations through the timely execution of all necessary processes including but not limited to maintenance planned and corrective; system preservation and re-activation scopes; pre- and post-use checks; and periodic pressure/function testing
    This responsibility shall be executed in close collaboration with key MPD system owners Senior Subsea Engineer and Chief Engineer.
    Required skills and experience
    Previous experience in a similar position or as Toolpusher, installation and duel operating ram rig
    Proven experience with a Schlumberger Deepwater MPD operation including its hardware and control system
    4 years of relative experience
    Competence in personnel management
    Management of Major Emergencies
