    JOB PURPOSE 

    Assist management in day-to-day store maintenance while providing excellent service and observing and maintaining all store policies and procedures. 

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

    Ensures the highest level of adidas service is given to each customer. 
    As needed, completes any regular sales transactions involving cash, credit, checks, etc. 
    Involved indirectly with ticketing of products as well as checking paperwork against items received. 
    Assists in product flow from stockroom to sales floor on a fill in basis. 
    Assists in the development of displays of merchandise or follow suggestions or schedules provided by the store management team. 
    Attain proficiency with the point-of-sale system by acquiring system utilization skills.
    Ensure integrity is maintained through attention to policy and procedure. 
    Uses selling techniques such as add on sales and describing technical information to customers to enhance salesmanship and reach store and position sales goals. 
    Greets customers in the store and assists them in finding the right product.
    Occasionally, serves primarily as a Greeter at the front door during busy workdays.

    Description

    Ecowize is hiring a dedicated and detail-oriented Chemical Blender to support our production team in manufacturing high-quality cleaning and hygiene products.
    This hands-on role involves mixing chemicals according to approved manufacturing instructions, operating blending equipment and machinery, and ensuring quality and safety protocols are consistently met.
    The Chemical Blender will be responsible for blending raw materials into finished products by following detailed work instructions and specifications.
    The role includes weighing and measuring raw materials, operating blenders and mixing vessels, adjusting product parameters (pH, viscosity), and conducting basic equipment maintenance.
    Additionally, the role includes the accurate labelling and packaging of products, as well as maintaining high housekeeping and safety standards in the blending area.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Operate blending equipment, handheld mixers, pH meters, and forklifts as required.
    Load and unload raw materials according to formulation requirements.
    Monitor blending processes and adjust settings based on quality checks.
    Follow DWI/FWI to ensure consistent, high-quality product output.
    Accurately weigh and measure all raw materials.
    Calibrate scales, meters, and blending equipment regularly.
    Record all production data, including batch numbers and raw material quantities.
    Collect samples and coordinate with QA for testing.
    Maintain cleanliness of blending equipment and surrounding areas.
    Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety guidelines.
    Ensure proper labelling and packaging of finished products.
    Perform routine checks and minor maintenance on blending equipment.
    Keep accurate records of blending processes, non-conformances, and material usage.

    Requirements

    Grade 12
    Background in Chemistry or Chemical Manufacturing (Desirable).
    Minimum 1 year of experience in chemical blending or manufacturing operations.
    Familiarity with equipment maintenance and process monitoring.
    Intermediate problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
    Basic computer literacy and Microsoft Office skills.
    Excellent communication skills
    High level of attention to detail.

    Maintaining complete records of all activities involving Boarding House students, Health and Social Wellbeing issues and parent involvement.
    Administering and be responsible for all aspects of Student Boarding House life.
    Establish and maintain safety precautions within the Student Boarding House especially in relation to excursions off campus.
    Maintaining a database of student contact information and student academic and behavioural records as they relate to both the Student Boarding House and the school.
    Taking an active role in the Student Boarding House improvement initiatives.
    Raising the profile of the Student Boarding House through organising events and initiatives.
    Knowing both Student Boarding House and school policies and can answer everyday queries of parents.
    Helping in other areas of the school as directed.

     Administration

    To be aware and acknowledgeable of all Boarding Policies and standards and always put them into practice.
    To liaise with Houseparents and their assistants regarding Boarders’ trips and activities
    To ensure that all trips have been planned in accordance with Health and Safety and pupil, staff ratios.
