    To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:

    Full Grade 12 School Certificate.
    Minimum of Advanced Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Metal Fabrication, or a related discipline.
    Minimum of three (3) years’ proven experience in crushers and conveyor structural maintenance within a mining or heavy industrial environment.
    Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience working with SAP or a similar Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or any Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
    Demonstrated ability to take initiative, drive performance, and contribute positively to continuous improvement initiatives within a results-driven environment.
    Valid Zambian Driver’s License.
    Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).

    Monitor the availability of spare parts and consumables, manage inventory levels, and coordinate procurement to ensure uninterrupted maintenance operations.
    Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to workshop personnel on proper equipment usage, care, and troubleshooting.
    Review maintenance processes and performance data to identify areas for improvement, implement enhancements, and contribute to workshop efficiency and equipment reliability. 
    Contractor and Vendor Coordination Manage and supervise external service providers during specialized repairs, statutory inspections, and equipment installations.
    Continuous Improvement and Technical Support Identify opportunities to improve workshop processes, equipment reliability, and efficiency while providing technical guidance and training to workshop personnel.

    To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:

    Full Grade 12 School Certificate.
    Minimum Craft Certificate in any engineering field from a recognized learning institution.
    Minimum 3 years’ work experience in an engineering role.

    1. Job Title:               Legal Intern
       Location:               Chipata, Eastern Province

    Position Summary
    The Legal Intern provides essential legal and logistical support to UP Zambia’s work in correctional facilities and courts, with a focus on mobile court operations, provision of legal advice to clients, and effective case management. The role involves direct interaction with clients, families, stakeholders and court personnel, and contributes to the smooth running of legal services and activities implemented under the project.
    Key Responsibilities
    ·      Prepare and set up mobile courtrooms within correctional facilities, including arrangement of furniture, technology, and legal materials.
    ·      Ensure all equipment, documents, and materials required for court proceedings are in good working order and available on time.
    ·      Coordinate with correctional facility staff to facilitate the secure and efficient conduct of mobile court sessions.
    ·      Manage logistics and refreshments for court personnel and participants, maintaining adequate stock levels and responding promptly to emerging needs.
    ·      Provide supervised legal advice and support to clients at Katete and Chipata Correctional Facilities.
    ·      Draft and revise legal documents and case materials under the guidance of the supervising legal officer.
    ·      Maintain accurate, updated client case files both physically and through the case management system.

    This role is an exciting opportunity for a creative individual who understand African cultures and environmental issues. The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting TNC’s conservation efforts, engage with diverse audiences, and amplify an African voice in our digital communication strategies and channels. The Social Media Intern will work closely with the Digital Communications and Social Media Manager to enhance the work of the Africa Marketing and Communications team through developing and curating compelling and relevant content for various social media platforms – Instagram, Meta, X, Linkedin, TikTok, and YouTube – through engaging visuals, stories, and multimedia elements.
    We’re Looking for You to:
    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Content creation for various social media platforms, with a strong focus on video formats (short and long form) reels, including but not limited to, static images, carousels, graphics, and more.
    Amplify the African voice by ensuring social media content reflects an authentic African voice and perspective.
    Collaborate with stakeholders to highlight their stories and contributions.
    Community engagement – foster a sense of community and interaction among our online audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquires with a focus on building meaningful connections.
    Collaborate with leadership to align social media strategies with regional priorities.
    Contribute ideas and initiatives that empower the people of Africa in environmental conservation efforts.
    Monitor social media analytics to measure the impact of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
    Provide regular insights on key performance indicators for continuous improvement.
    Work is diversified and may not always fall under established practices and guidelines.
    What You’ll Bring:
    MINIMMAL QUALIFICATIONS
    University bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to Business, Agribusiness, Information Technology, Marketing, Communication, or other relevant fields and 6 months of related experience.
    Familiarity with visual storytelling and/or design best practices.
    Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and diverse team.
    Excellent and verbal communication skills, with a proficiency in English.
    Experience, coursework, or other training in principles and practices of relevant field.
    Willingness to commit and demonstrate TNC core values.
    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    University bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to Business, Agribusiness, Information Technology, Marketing, Communication, or other relevant fields and 6 months of related experience.
    Already graduated, not presently in school/college.
    Prior training in different communication and analysis tools (Social media platforms, value chain analysis tools, Marketing and Outreach,) – an added advantage
    Experience with social media platforms and social media trends.
    Experience creating and editing short-form video content (reels for Instagram or Facebook) using digital editing tools.
    Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience are appreciated.
    Graphic design and multimedia skills are a plus.
    Experience working in partnership with others in a collaborative role.
