    Financial Planning Tool
    Main Duties will include the following:

    Develop and consolidate cashflow and expenditure forecasts for the Company to be submitted to the Finance Manager.
    Provide input in developing the annual Financial Operating Plan/budget (investments).
    Update monthly rolling forecasts and submit to the Finance Manager for approval.
    Submit provisional expenditure budget schedules to the Finance Manager for inclusion in the annual expense budget.
    Prepare the monthly expense analysis against the budget and recommend appropriate action to the Finance Manager.
    Perform variance analysis and analytical reviews on all account balances and submit a report to the Finance Manager including reasons for variances.

    Update schedules to be submitted to the Finance Manager for inclusion in the Group consolidation Pack and abridged financial statements for the Company.
    Prepare branch income and expense reports, balance sheets and cashflows to be submitted to the Finance Manager.
    Ensure daily matching, banking and reconciliation of receipts and bi-monthly bank reconciliations.
    Obtain third-party investment reports and assessments in order to give recommendations to the Finance Manager.
    Update the capital, solvency, liquidity and balance sheets for the Company to be submitted to the Regulator through the Finance Manager.
    Ensure statutory documents and other obligations are submitted and settled timely.
    Review/prepare reconciliations and ensure that all reconciling items are followed up and cleared timely.
    Monitor completeness of Premiums by monthly review of unapproved policies in the system before the close of the reporting period.
    Provide auditors with information and resolve any queries arising in liaison with the Finance Manager.
    Identify disciplinary problems or issues and arrange for the necessary disciplinary action in line with Human Resource Policies and Procedures.

    Qualifications and Experience

    First degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
    ACCA/CIMA / CA Zambia (Intermediate level).

    Key Responsibilities
     
    INTERCOMPANY TRADE

    Maintenance of netting accounts and correspondence
    Run and dispatch of customers statements for intercompany AR/AP
    Intercompany reconciliation including quarterly Intercompany reconciliation via Reconciliation tools.
    Continuous process improvement within Intercompany issues (root cause analysis and action about missing or wrong coding on intercompany invoices follow up on missing and wrong coding)
