The Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Officer shall be responsible for identifying, assessing and advising on risks arising from the workplace or work processes, recommending measures to eliminate or minimize and control the risks and implementing the measures.
The HSE Officer shall be responsible for preventing or reducing health and environmental risks, and improving quality of processes, and ensuring that the business is fully compliant to national HSE standards and that best practice is promoted.

3.      Regularly monitor and review the employee compliance to the company’s industrial relations and disciplinary policies and procedures.
4.      Monitor sickness and absence levels and provide monthly management reports.
5.      Investigate alleged breaches to the company’s industrial relations and disciplinary policies and procedures and initiate redress processes in cases where breaches have occurred.
6.      Induct new employees and employees returning from long absence of duty on the company’s industrial relations and disciplinary policies and procedures.
7.      Perform other duties in the Human Resources Department as assigned by superiors.

Role Overview:
The Blow Mold Operator will support the production of high-quality plastic containers used in fruit juice and pulp packaging at Eastern Tropical Fruits Limited (ETF). This role is responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of blow molding machines, ensuring consistent output, minimal downtime, and compliance with food safety and packaging quality standards.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Operate blow molding machines to produce plastic containers according to specifications.
Monitor machine parameters and make adjustments to maintain optimal performance.
Conduct mold changeovers and equipment setup according to production schedules.
Inspect finished containers for defects, weight accuracy, and packaging quality.
Perform in-process quality checks and report deviations to the Packaging
Supervisor or Maintenance Team.
Carry out routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication.
Report faults or breakdowns promptly and assist with troubleshooting as needed.
Ensure adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and food safety protocols in a food-grade production environment.
Coordinate with filling and packaging teams to align output with production needs.
Maintain accurate production logs, including volumes, mold changes, faults, and maintenance activities.
Comply with workplace health and safety guidelines, using PPE appropriately.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Grade 12 Certificate with five (5) O Levels.
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating blow molding machines, preferably in a food or beverage production environment.
Knowledge of plastic packaging quality standards and machinery operation.
Awareness of food safety standards such as HACCP and ISO 22000.
Membership with a recognized professional regulatory body is an added advantage.
Knowledge of plastic materials and the blow moulding process is a distinct advantage.

Start up, operate, and shut down steam boilers in accordance with operational guidelines and production schedules.
Monitor boiler pressure, water levels, fuel supply, and temperatures to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Adjust valves, gauges, and controls to regulate steam or hot water flow as needed.
Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on boilers, feed pumps, valves, and auxiliary equipment.

Assist in preparing reports for audits and compliance reviews.
Work closely with production and utility teams to align steam supply with operational needs.
Provide technical input on boiler performance and recommend efficiency improvements.
Participate in training and skill development activities to improve boiler and plant operations.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Grade 12 Certificate with five (5) O Levels.
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Power Plant Technology, or a related field.
Boiler Operation License or Certification from a recognized institution or regulatory body.

Diagnose electrical faults and malfunctions in machinery, lighting, and power systems.
Replace faulty wiring, circuit breakers, fuses, and other electrical components as required.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
