    Role Overview
    The Production Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the production line. This role ensures that all production activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The Production Supervisor will lead and manage a team of operators and technicians, monitor production targets, and maintain a smooth workflow.
    Key Roles and Responsibilities
    Production Oversight:

    Oversee the daily operations of the production line, including processing, filling, and packaging.
    Monitor production schedules and ensure that output targets are met on time.
    Troubleshoot and resolve minor production issues to minimize downtime.
    Ensure the efficient use of raw materials, labour, and equipment.

    Team Leadership and Management:

    Supervise and mentor a team of operators and technicians.
    Assign daily tasks, provide training, and manage shifts.
    Conduct performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback to team members.
    Foster a positive and productive work environment.

    Quality and Safety Compliance:

    Ensure all production processes adhere to the company’s quality control and food safety standards.

    Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols and procedures.
    Report all safety incidents and hazards to the Senior Health and Safety Officer.

    Reporting and Communication:

    Prepare daily production reports on output, efficiency, and any issues encountered.
    Communicate effectively with the Factory Manager and other departments to ensure a coordinated workflow.
    Report on equipment performance and maintenance needs to the relevant technical staff.

    Minimum Qualifications & Experience

    Grade 12 Certificate with five (5) O Levels
    Diploma in Production Management, Food Technology, Food Science, Engineering, or related field.
    Membership with a recognized professional regulatory body
    Minimum 5 years’ experience in production operations.

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:
    Product Development and Improvement:

    Conduct trials and tests to ensure product consistency, quality, and shelf life.
    Work to improve product taste, texture, and nutritional value.

    Quality Assurance and Control (QA/QC):

    Food Safety and Compliance:

    Prepare for and participate in external audits and regulatory inspections.

    Minimum Qualifications & Experience

The Senior Procurement Officer will work closely with production, finance, and commercial teams to guarantee uninterrupted operations and value-for-money in all supply contracts.
    Key Roles and Responsibilities:
    Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Management:

    Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors based on price, quality, and delivery timelines.

    Professional certification from a recognized procurement body (e.g., CIPS) is a significant advantage.
    Should be a member of Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS).
    Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
    Proven experience in vendor negotiation and contract management.
