    Key Responsibilities:

    Compiling and implementing capital plans to include forecasting regulatory and economic capital demand & supply across business units.
    In conjunction with Finance and Risk, ensuring the capital position as estimated on the capital plan always meets the Board approved and regulatory targets.
    Ensuring adherence to ALM policies.
    Achieving an appropriate risk profile in line with Group standards and risk tolerances by hedging all manageable risk via the Treasury Trading desk.
    Driving the in-country ALCO process , ALCO committee meetings and ALCO reporting within the ALCO governance framework.
    Ensuring the implementation of and adherence to the First Capital Bank Group Pricing policies.
    In respect of the bank’s liquidity management, being responsible and accountable Funding Curve, Book Ownership and Structure Risk Management, Reporting and Financing for the Bank.
    Investment of Liquid Assets to meet regulatory requirements and liquidity objectives.
    Enhancing revenue and optimizing funding costs by managing Surplus Liquidity and Liquidity Buffers to optimize risk / return.
    Optimize daily intraday clearing by ensuring that shortages / surpluses are funded / invested as optimally as possible.
    Hedging all manageable interest rate risk in the banking book through investment in qualifying liquid assets or, where applicable, executing interest rate derivatives.
    Ensure all Treasury’s funding related market facing activities including interbank / wholesale funding and intra-day liquidity management are performed within group policy (i.e. Libor setting rules).
    Building credibility with banks and the regulator and maintaining strong relationships with these key external stakeholders.
    Ensuring all deals are dealt within dealer limits (market risk limits, counterparty limits, dealer’s mandate).
    Ensuring operational controls are in place and ensuring a robust Key Risk Assessment (KRA) framework.
    Ensuring satisfactory Internal Audit report.

    Technical Skills & Competence:

    Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
    5 years’ experience in a similar role.
    ACI Dealing Certificate.
    Must be a member of ACI The Financial Markets Association within 6 months of joining the Treasury department.
    Must have a clear understanding of current Banking Rules and Regulations.
    ZQA Clearance Certificate.

    The Group Head: Treasury is responsible for defining and executing the Group’s Treasury strategy, with a primary focus on asset and liability management (ALM), liquidity optimisation, funding, and balance sheet management across all operating markets.

    The role ensures the effective management of the Group’s cash flows, interest rate and liquidity risks, and funding structure, while supporting sustainable growth, profitability, and regulatory compliance. It plays a critical role in safeguarding the financial stability of the Group and optimising the balance sheet to deliver improved returns.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Treasury Strategy & Balance Sheet Management
    • Develop and implement the Group Treasury and ALM strategy
    • Optimise the Group balance sheet, including asset mix, liability structure, and funding profile
    • Align Treasury strategy with overall Group financial and growth objectives
    2. Asset & Liability Management (ALM)
    • Lead the Group ALM framework across all subsidiaries

    MAJOR FUNCTIONS
    The Executive Assistant will support the Country Director (CD) in the fulfillment and execution of duties, both to ensure effective management of the Country Office, including keeping perfect coordination among all departments, and to liaise effectively with WWF Network as well as external partners and suppliers. Operates and performs

    Key Result Areas Roles and responsibilities
    1. Provide executive support to the Country Director

    Coordinate and maintain the CD’s calendar of appointments and schedule the CD’s meetings and conference calls and endeavor to streamline the Country Director’s workload.
    Manage incoming correspondence to the CD, including e-mails, letters, and invitations to meetings. They research, answer, screen and follow-up on inquiries and multiple incoming issues and concerns addressed to the Country Director, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature.
    Draft and proofread outgoing correspondence on behalf of the CD.
    Based on familiarity with the subject matter, prepare Emails and correspondence independently where possible, and refer others to appropriate staff members or departments.
    Edit correspondence, reports and documents and create spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations as requested by the CD.
    Coordinate with relevant staff to ensure speeches, remarks, key notes and letters for the Country Director are prepared in a timely manner.
    Process signature and mailing requests coming to the CDs desk from the various departments (including administration/procurement, finance and technical areas). Oversee budget and manage Country Director’s expenses and make sure expenses of Country Director’s direct reports are approved.
    Provide first-line support to the Country Director on digital devices and applications payment systems, processes and office facilities as well as maintaining filing systems.
    Anticipate and identify problems that may occur and recommend a range of solutions to the Country Director while coordinating efforts for the resolution to mitigate the risks on a timely basis.
    Establish and manage a confidential filing system for the CD.

    2. Provide support that ensures an effective Zambia Country Officer (ZCO) Country Leadership Team (CLT).

    Liaise with government officials and their staff, and other implementing partners, to set up high-level meetings with CD and other CLT members as desired.
    Assist the CD to prepare agenda, logistics, schedule meetings and take minutes at the Country Leadership Team meetings and follow up on action points and circulate the meeting minutes to relevant staff in a timely manner. Take note of other meetings whenever required.
    Manage international travel arrangements for the CD and CLT and international guests visiting the Country Office to include: – processing visas, ticketing, hotel bookings and airport pickups and drops and in-country travels for incoming guests.

    3. Provide effective administrative support to Country Office

    Using initiative and judgment to ensure matters requiring attention in the absence of the Director are referred to or delegated to the right office/person to minimize the effect of the Country Director’s absence from office.
    Coordinate and manage special projects as assigned by the CD
    Assist the CD to coordinate strategic donor missions to in-country visits (national or landscape level depending on requests
    Manage international meetings / conferences hosted in-country and all associated logistics.
    In conjunction with the People & Culture Manager assist international staff settle in the country including processing work permits and housing arrangements, securing schools, etc.

    4. Support to coordinate OD implementation oversight

    Under the guidance of the CD, assist to coordinate OD annual plans with different departments.
    Provide logistical support to different departments delivering specific OD activities.
    Generate concept notes to implement activities especially when obtaining support from the ROA and ensure such scheduled plans are executed seamlessly

    Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

    5. Centre Administrator
    Role Overview:
    The Centre Administrator will play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of Edubridge Education Centre. This position requires a highly organized and proactive individual who can manage administrative systems, support academic staff, and ensure an efficient and welcoming environment for students and stakeholders.
    Key Responsibilities:

    Oversee daily administrative operations of the centre
    Manage student records, enrolment, and scheduling
    Provide administrative support to teaching staff and leadership
    Handle communications with parents, students, and external partners
    Coordinate examinations, timetables, and centre logistics
    Ensure compliance with institutional policies and procedures

    Requirements:

    Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Education, or related field
    Proven experience in an administrative role (education sector preferred)
    Strong organizational and multitasking skills
    Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative systems

    Candidate Requirements

    A Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject (Master’s degree preferred)
    A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Diploma in Education, or equivalent)
    Proven experience teaching secondary or pre-university programmes
    Strong subject knowledge and a passion for academic excellence
    Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
    Ability to inspire and support diverse learners

    Desirable Qualifications

    Experience teaching international curricula such as Cambridge A-Level or equivalent
    Familiarity with inquiry-based and student-centred learning approaches
    Experience in multicultural or international educational environments
    Strong ICT and digital learning skills
