  • Chief Accountant

    Job Description
    Applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified persons to fill in the following vacancy that has arisen within Croco Holdings group.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    Key ResponsibilitiesManage working capital and deploy financial resources effectively.• Produce accurate, timely financial statements, management reports, ExCom/Board reports, and audited accounts.• Lead product costing to support correct pricing and profitability.• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and manage audit queries/responses.• Plan and coordinate annual audits, including audit files and schedules.• Forecast cash flows accurately and ensure timely reporting on daily performance.• Strengthen financial controls over receivables and payables.• Ensure financial reporting quality, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.• Oversee tax computations and ensure timely submission/payment (VAT, Income Tax,PAYE, QPDs).• Develop, review, and implement finance policies, SOPs, and procedures (with Executive approval).• Recommend budgeting assumptions/parameters and support budgeting processes.• Translate departmental strategies into financial metrics and monitor performance.• Conduct cost reviews, variance analysis, investigations, and drive cost control/resource allocation.• Measure profitability and report on financial performance.• Review capital expenditure proposals for viability and value.• Lead, train, mentor, and performance-manage the finance team (recruitment, supervision, appraisals).• Deliver financial input and reporting for special projects as assigned by Executives.

    Qualifications and Experience
    Qualifications & Experience• Degree in Accounting, Business Finance, ACCA, CIMA, CIS, CA or any equivalent qualification.• 6 years’ experience in the accounting field preferably with articles.• 4 years in doing management accounts.• Highly experienced in statutory returns (VAT, QDs and Withholding tax & PAYE).• Familiar with Pinnacle, Pastel Accounting Package, Excel and Word, and Palladium.• Excellent time management and organizational skills.• Ability to work under pressure.

    Job Description
    MINING TEAM LEADERApplications are invited from interested and suitably qualified persons to fill in the following vacancy that has arisen within Croco Holdings group.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    Key Responsibilities• Lead and supervise underground or open-pit gold mining teamsEnsure compliance with mine health, safety, and environmental regulations• Conduct daily toolbox talks and pre-shift safety inspections• Oversee drilling, blasting, ore extraction, and hauling activities• Monitor ore grade control and minimize dilution and ore loss• Ensure proper handling and transportation of gold-bearing material• Coordinate with geology and processing teams to optimize gold recovery• Monitor and achieve daily and weekly production targets• Inspect working areas for hazards such as rockfalls, gas, and water ingress• Ensure correct use and maintenance of mining equipment (drills, loaders, dump trucks)• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses• Maintain accurate production, safety, and shift reports• Train and mentor team members on safe mining practices and procedures

    Qualifications and Experience
    Key Skills and Attributes• Strong leadership and team coordination skills• Solid understanding of gold mining methods (e.g. open-pit mining)• Knowledge of ore grade control and gold recovery principles• Excellent safety awareness and risk management skills• Ability to interpret mine plans and geological data

    Qualifications & Experience• Diploma or Degree in Mining Engineering or related field• Valid Blasting License• Mine Supervisor Certificate an added advantage• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in gold mining operations• At least 2 years in a supervisory role

    Duties and Responsibilities
    • Design, develop, and maintain advanced dashboards and data visualization tools using modern frontend frameworks, including Vue.js. • Build secure, high-performance backend services and APIs using C#, .NET Core/ASP.NET, supporting both real-time and scheduled data pipelines. • Architect and implement microservices-based solutions to ensure scalability, modularity, and efficient deployment of data systems. • Lead SQL database development, including schema design, stored procedures, indexing, and performance optimization. • Integrate data from diverse global systems (HMIS, MER platforms, program reporting tools) into unified visualization models. • Apply SOLID principles, clean architecture, and industry best practices to ensure maintainable and high-quality codebases. • Manage version control workflows using Git, including branching strategies, pull requests, and CI/CD pipelines.

    Qualifications and Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Design, or a related field. • Relevant professional certifications in recognized data visualization tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar). • Strong proficiency in Vue.js and modern frontend development (TypeScript, SPA architecture, component libraries). • Advanced experience in C#, .NET Core/ASP.NET, REST API development, and backend engineering. • Solid experience with microservices architecture, containerization, and service orchestration. • Deep expertise in SQL database design, optimization, and data transformation workflows. • Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as Apex Charts, Highcharts, Chart.js, or D3.js. • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and automated data refresh cycles. • Proficient in applying SOLID principles, clean architecture, and reusable code patterns. • Competence in Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development workflows. • Experience with Docker and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is an added advantage.
