    The Plant Planner will be responsible to provide scheduling support to implementation projects, including schedule development and update, schedule risk analysis, scenario planning and project progress reporting. He/She will implement MMG Project Management System in Khoemacau Expansion Project as well as guide all participants using the platform.

    Key Responsibilities

    Monitoring and tracking the progress of the project against the established schedule. Identifying delays, deviations, or risks that may impact the timeline and report them promptly.
    Preparing, updating, and distributing regular progress reports to stakeholders as well as ensuring that the reports are accurate, timely, and reflect the status of the project.
    Overseeing the setup, maintenance, and utilization of the PMIS to support project planning and tracking and to ensure that all project data is accurately entered and updated in the system.
    Collaborating with contractors, suppliers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather progress updates and align schedule adjustments as well as facilitating meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.
    Implementing the metric for progress measurement and providing planning and scheduling performance inputs to project status reporting.
    Analyzing project schedules to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements as well as proposing adjustments to the schedule as needed to meet project deadlines.

    Requirements

    Recognised tertiary qualification (Degree / Diploma) and registration with Professional Council and/or regulatory body (recommended).
    Certificate of PMP or IPMP level C above.
    A minimum of 5 years post qualification in Project Controls functions, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Project Scheduling Control role on major projects (including execution / construction phase).
    Demonstrated proficiency (advanced) in Primavera P6 software.
    Proficiency in project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
    Extensive knowledge in the development and execution of major mining projects.
    A valid class B driver’s license and good driving record is a must for all positions.

    The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for providing construction support and commissioning supervision of the new tailings Filter Plant and the Paste Backfill Plant as well as operational oversight for the post commissioning phase. The Senior Mechanical Engineer oversees the commissioning, operation and maintenance of the tailings Filter Plant and associated ancillaries, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant tailings dewatering management aligned with metallurgical and pastefill requirements. This role integrates process engineering, maintenance coordination, legal compliance, and stakeholder engagement to optimize tailings filtration, water recovery, and filter cake deposition onto stockpiles for haulage to Zone 5.

    Key Responsibilities

    Managing and overseeing mechanical equipment installation, commissioning, and maintenance phases of the processing plant throughout the project lifecycle.
    Coordinating closely with project teams to ensure timely completion of mechanical tasks aligned with project milestones.
    Implementing and maintaining effective quality assurance processes throughout all project phases to ensure equipment and installation integrity.
    Developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programmes specific to project and operational processing equipment.
    Leading root cause analysis initiatives related to processing mechanical equipment failures, ensuring corrective actions support long-term reliability and project success.
    Ensuring the availability, reliability, and optimal performance of all processing mechanical equipment, minimising downtime and operational disruptions.
    Ensuring adherence to engineering standards, specifications, and regulatory compliance requirements.

    Requirements

    Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    Minimum 15 years’ mechanical engineering, maintenance, and project roles, including at least 5 years supervising mechanical teams in mining or heavy industry projects.
    Certification in Maintenance Management or Reliability Engineering is advantageous.
    Certification in Project Management is advantageous.
    Solid experience in managing preventive and predictive maintenance programmes effectively in project environments.
    Proficiency in CMMS, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
    A valid class B driver’s license and good driving record is a must for all positions.

    The Senior Geochemist will be responsible for providing expert guidance and fit-for-purpose geochemical support to MMG exploration programs.

    Key Responsibilities

    Driving practical, best-practise sample program design, both surface and drilling based, ensuring that appropriate sampling methods and analytical protocols are adhered to.
    Responsible for the provision of basic geochemical training for local geologists.
    Responsible for QA and QC oversight of geochemical analysis
    Proactively liaising with commercial laboratories to ensure quality and timeliness of analysis.
    Accountable for the generation of fundamental geochemical products for priority projects.
    Providing leadership on the integrity of fundamental geochemical datasets.
    Driving improved understanding on regolith controls on primary ore deposit expression and the development of economic oxide deposits in the Copper belt.
    Assisting with the development of geochemical intellectual property and with the generation of a coherent predictive exploration model for Copper mineralization and the development of Copper oxide systems.

    Requirements

    Minimum B.Sc. Geology with Honours (PhD in Geochemistry is desirable).
    Practical ‘field based’ exploration experience, particularly with surface sample geochemical programs in regolith dominated terrains
    Experience in timely interpretation of geochemical data
    Previous experience in dedicated exploration geologist roles
    Experience with the interpretation of multivariate datasets in a timely fashion, and presentation of those results to audiences with varying skills and interests
    Experience with exploration in Africa

    Exploiting the use of Sales First tools through integrated T-SPANCOP with Sales one and delivering DVRs according to VE needs and guidelines in order to provide proven Technology Leadership or Value Led examples.
