    Position Objective

    The EORE Field Officer purpose is to coordinate and facilitate the implementation of EORE activities and to manage the DCA EORE operational teams.

    Task
    In accordance with the DCA EORE Standard Operating Procedures, the Ethiopian National Technical Standards and Guidelines for EORE, and the EORE activity plan, the EORE Field Officer will perform the following tasks:

    Coordinate and liaise with the other components of DCA to make sure that EORE is integrated into the overall strategy of Mine Action in Ethiopia.

    Conduct refresher training for EORE facilitators and ensure the skills of the EORE facilitators are according to relevant standards.
    Act as line manager for EORE facilitators.
    Maintain good communication with partner organisations.
    Maintain good relationships with other mine action interventions in the area including those involved in survey, marking and clearance to ensure good coordination and shared knowledge.

    About the role:
    The Head of Compliance with External and Internal Systems (HoCEIS) is a member of the country programme senior management (together with the Country Director (CD) and Deputy Country Director (DCD)) and shares responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of People in Need’s (PIN) country programme. Specifically, the role of the HoCEIS is to manage and improve the support systems and operations required to achieve this objective comprising of Finance, Systems and Compliance agendas. In performing this role, the HoCEIS also ensures an enabling environment for the implementation of the country programme, while maintaining operations and systems that meet with the accountability and reporting requirements of PIN, Czech administrative and legal framework, as well as various external actors (donors, local and international institutions, etc.).     Main Duties & Responsibilities:
    Strategic Leadership

    The HoCEIS assists the CD in the management of the country programme, participates in the senior management meetings, and pro-actively takes part in the decision-making processes;
    Ensures that systems and operations support the implementation of the country programme strategy and that procedures and regulations are implemented in full transparency and in accordance with donor and PIN rules;

    Key Roles and responsibilities
    The MEL Officer, under the supervision of and reporting directly to the Executive Director, shall assume the following specific responsibilities for the length of his/her employment with LHR:
