    Job Description
    The successful candidate will be responsible for closely supervising and inspecting all coating activities, including surface preparation, paint mixing, coating application, and quality control processes to ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.
    Key Responsibilities
    Monitor and inspect all coating activities from surface preparation through final coating acceptance.
    Closely supervise and guide contractors during abrasive blasting, surface preparation, paint mixing, and coating application activities.
    Verify that surface preparation meets specified standards such as SSPC, ISO, and NACE requirements.
    Inspect environmental conditions including surface temperature, ambient temperature, humidity, and dew point before and during coating application.
    Ensure proper storage, handling, and mixing of coating materials according to manufacturers’ recommendations.
    Conduct inspections and measurements including:
    Surface profile measurement
    Soluble salt testing
    Wet Film Thickness WFT
    Dry Film Thickness DFT
    Adhesion testing
    Holiday/porosity testing
    Visual inspections
    Ensure coating application methods comply with approved procedures and project specifications.
    Witness and document all inspection and testing activities and prepare detailed inspection reports.
    Identify coating defects and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
    Coordinate with QA / QC personnel, project engineers, contractors, and client representatives on coating-related matters.
    Maintain accurate records of inspection reports, Non-Conformance Reports NCRs, and quality documentation.
    Ensure all coating activities are executed in accordance with company HSE policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
    Participate in quality audits, project meetings, and client inspections.
    Job Requirements
    HND / B.Sc. in Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Chemistry, or related discipline.
    NACE Coating Inspector Program CIP Level 2 or equivalent certification.
    A minimum certification of NACE Coating Inspector Program CIP Level 2 or equivalent is mandatory.
    Additional Certifications Preferred.
    Job Experience:
    Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in coating inspection and quality assurance within the oil and gas, petrochemical, marine, or construction industries.

    The Commercial Diving Expert is responsible for executing underwater inspection, maintenance, repair, installation, and recovery operations in accordance with approved diving procedures, client specifications, and international diving standards.
    The role ensures all diving activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory, quality, and HSE requirements.
    Key Responsibilities
    Diving Operations
    Perform commercial diving operations in offshore, nearshore, inland water, and swamp environments.
    Execute underwater inspection, maintenance, repair, installation, and construction support activities.
    Conduct underwater cleaning, marine growth removal, and structural inspections.
    Carry out underwater welding, burning, cutting, and light construction activities where certified.
    Install, recover, and inspect subsea equipment, pipelines, risers, mooring systems, and underwater structures.
    Assist in salvage, recovery, and emergency underwater operations when required.
    Perform underwater measurements, photography, and video documentation.
    Safety & Compliance:
    Comply with all approved diving procedures, permit-to-work systems, and risk assessments.
    Conduct pre-dive equipment inspections and safety checks.
    Ensure diving equipment is maintained in good working condition.
    Report unsafe conditions, equipment defects, and incidents immediately.
    Participate in emergency drills and contingency response exercises.
    Adhere to company HSE policies and international commercial diving standards.
    Equipment & Maintenance:
    Inspect and maintain diving equipment before and after operations.
    Ensure proper care of helmets, umbilicals, communication systems, compressors, chambers, and associated equipment.
    Assist in equipment mobilization and demobilization.
    Documentation:
    Maintain accurate dive logs and operational records.
    Record dive times, depths, tasks performed, and observations.
    Prepare reports on completed underwater activities.
    Support the Diving Supervisor in maintaining project documentation.
    Team Collaboration:
    Work closely with Diving Supervisors, Dive Tenders, ROV personnel, marine crews,  engineers, and client representatives.
    Participate in toolbox talks, pre-job briefings, and post-job reviews.
    Mentor junior divers where required.
    Qualifications
    Diploma, HND, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Marine Technology, or a related discipline preferred.
    Minimum of 5 years of commercial diving experience in the oil and gas or marine industry.
    Demonstrated experience in offshore, subsea, or inland water diving operations.
    Mandatory Certifications:
    Recognized Commercial Diver Certification e.g., IMCA, ADCI, HSE, or equivalent.
    Valid Diving Medical Certificate.
    BOSIET with CA-EBS or FOET where applicable.
    Valid Offshore Medical Certificate.
    Basic First Aid/CPR.
    HSE Level 1, 2, or 3 as applicable.
    Preferred Certifications:
    IMCA Air Diver Certification.
    Underwater Welding Certification.
    NDT Inspection Certification advantage.
    Rigging and Lifting Certification.
    Confined Space Entry.
    HUET.
    Technical Competencies:
    Surface-supplied air diving.
    Underwater inspection and survey.
    Subsea construction support.
    Underwater maintenance and repair.
    Marine salvage and recovery.
    Pipeline inspection and maintenance.
    Underwater photography and video documentation.
    Diving equipment maintenance.

    In-depth knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and compliance requirements PAYE, WHT, VAT, and CIT.
    Proficiency in accounting software e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or Tally and advanced Excel skills.
    Proven experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements, budgets, and reconciliations.
    Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective client management.

    Experience delivering training in accounting and taxation will be an added advantage.
