    Job Description

    Description

    Load and unload the MMU safely and accurately by securing the loading area, verifying material specifications, and inspecting the unit for proper functionality. 
    Use appropriate tools and equipment, monitoring material quantities, and following established procedures. 
    Assist with stock control by using the inventory system to label, categorise, and track stock levels; support receiving stock, entering it into the system, ensuring correct storage, performing stock checks, and reporting any discrepancies to the Site Supervisor. 
    Take responsibility for the MMU through regular cleaning and inspection, conducting and reporting basic repairs and maintenance, checking fluid levels, cleaning filters, verifying safety features and electrical systems, calibrating measurement devices, and carrying out monthly or as-needed alignment checks. 
    Maintain the work area and site by cleaning and decontaminating raw material spills, ensuring proper waste disposal, identifying potential hazards or abnormal conditions, and promptly reporting them to the relevant supervisor.

    Main Job Purpose

    Utilise the scheduling system in the Service Centre to maximise the productivity of Fitters, ensuring targeted jobs per fit per day are achieved, the Fitment Centre runs at full capacity, and customer expectations are managed.
    Accurately order stock according to work schedules, following the buy-out procedures to avoid delays in rendering services to customers and maintain the highest possible standard.

    Adress and report all non-compliance with TM policies, legislation and regulatory requirements to the L&D Specialist to ensure the needed rectifications are implemented.
    Drive and monitor safety when conducting walkabouts in the plant/mine, so as to ensure full compliance with the TM policy and regulatory requirements, using no compliance as upskill opportunities.
    Manage record-keeping and compliance with International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) standards, to uphold quality and regulatory requirements.
    Monitor the implementation and maintenance of internal quality management systems to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to regulatory requirements and standards.

    Resource Management

    Determine resource needs within own area of responsibility to achieve individual role outcomes.
    Request required assets and resources for the fulfilment of work duties to attain quality work outputs.
