Job Description
This role supports the Channel finance area and is responsible for the maintenance of accounting records, financial analyses, commentary and information for management reporting. The incumbent is individually and collectively accountable for achieving results through own efforts.
Key Result Area:
Maintain accounting records
Compile, process and approve accounting entries
Invoicing and settlements
Account and budget centre hierarchy maintenance
Responsible and accountable for accuracy and completeness of general ledgers
Bank servicing and cashflow management
Compile and submit results per Group reporting requirements
Maintain a strong financial control environment
Continuous evaluation of finance processes and driving process optimisation
Preparation of Annual Financial Statements
Preparation and submission of monthly and annual tax/VAT
Liaise with internal and external auditors
Management Reporting
Compiles supporting documents for Channels and Group Finance Prepare reports
Analyse and provide commentary on the financial results with insights
Technical Effectiveness
MS Office with solid Excel skills (intermediate)
Oracle Financials (required) and HFM (preferred)
An understanding of current IFRS accounting standards

Education and Experience:
Charted Accountant (SA)
3-5 Years Experience working experience
