    Responsibilities

    Be front line sales point by selling our products to customers.
    Maintains and develops good relationship with customers through personal contact, meetings and/or via telephone etc.

    Very efficient in gathering market and customer information to enable negotiations regarding variations in prices, delivery and customer specifications to their managers.

    Carefully train all customers in the use of mobile money payment processes.
    In the period of probation (3 months), you are expected to at least sale a total of 16 (pumps) sales/units as an average productivity rate, consideration to long term contract will depend on performance

    Extensive local Agricultural knowledge

    Job Purpose 
    The position holder’s primary responsibility is managing technological change from operational standpoint through a structured change management process with an end goal of enabling VisionFund Tanzania to move paperless operation. The role will involve leading VisionFund Tanzania through digital transformation in banking and loan process through working with various technological solution providers and IT department. The position conducts in-depth analysis of the processes and design an efficient digital process that complies to local regulation.
     
    Main tasks

    Review and propose efficient technological change that can digitally transform VFT operation from front end to Back end
    Run the IT projects in accordance with the Visionfund project management framework.
    Work with all stakeholder to ensure all change gates (decision point) and project documents there off are adhered to approval requirement are met prior to projects proceeding to next phases
    Responsible for day to day management and coordination of the IT projects deliverables in the

    VFT specifically ensuring that

    Business process changes required for projects roll out are well documented and signed off

    All VFT staff are trained on new processes, and everyone understands how their role and way of business doing will change and why

    Relevant teams are involved in the testing of solution

    The IT project roll out plan is clearly articulated, and all roll out pre- requisites are in place

    In charge of the IT projects plan, tracks plan against actual deliverable and update the project plan in smart sheet on weekly basis
    change management lead for LMMS project that involve preparation of Business concept, budget break down and project timeline.
    Daily supervisor of the implementation of digital transformation project including LMMS, CRM, interbank system etc.
    Responsible for innovation around Conversion of paper based forms and templates to digital platform.

    Entry Qualifications:

    Must be a registered Civil Engineer with a Degree in Civil Engineering (A Post Graduate Qualification in Highway Engineering is an Added Advantage).
    Must have a minimum of twelve (12) years of cumulative experience (experience in Contract Administration under FIDIC/PPRA Conditions of Contract is an added advantage).
    Must have served as a Project Manager/Resident Engineer or in an equivalent capacity on at least three (3) bituminous road construction projects of similar magnitude and complexity in the last ten (10) years.
    Must have a working experience of at least three (3) years in sub-Saharan countries.
    Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Shall be responsible for all administrative aspects on site.
    To supervise the Contractor at the site and force account operations.
    To manage work plans for the project.
    To manage quality control.
    To manage project contracts.
    To prepare monthly progress reports for projects.
    To process contractor invoices and facilitate payments.
    To prepare and attend regular site meetings and prepare minutes.
    To monitor implementation of social and environmental impact mitigation measures during the construction of the works in consultation with the Environmental Specialist of TANROADS.
    Keeping updated all records including reports, works diaries, correspondences, instructions given to contractor(s), test records, measurement and quantity calculations, payment records, and all other relevant documents pertaining to the works operations and supervision contracts.
    To perform such other related duties as may be assigned by the Project Manager (PM).

    Terms of Employment:

    Salary: TANROADS Salary scale with other site allowances as per TANROADS Incentive Policy.

    Extra Posts for Resident Engineer
    Two additional Resident Engineer posts are available for one of the following projects, with the same qualifications and CV requirements as above:

    Upgrading of Morogoro (Bigwa)-Mvuha Road (78km) to Bitumen Standard Including Ruvu (64m) & Mvuha (60m) Bridges, Contract No. TRD/HQ/1008/2023/24.
    Upgrading of Ifakara-Kihansi Road (124km) to Bitumen Standard, Lot 2: Mbingu-Chita Section (37.5km) Contract No. TRD/HQ/1016/2023/24. Applicants must specify in their application whether they are applying for the Morogoro-Mvuha or Ifakara-Kihansi project for these extra posts.
