    Job description:
    PURPOSE

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    This position will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures, and legal regulations pertaining to health, safety, environment, and quality, as well as finance, human resources, and any other regulations as required by the company and relevant to the level of the role and responsibilities of the function.
    • Lead and supervise construction teams on-site to ensure work is executed according to approved plans and specifications.
    • Coordinate daily site activities, including resource allocation, task assignments, and progress tracking.
    • Monitor construction progress and prepare reports using project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
    • Ensure compliance with safety standards and enforce site safety protocols.
    • Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, planners, and other stakeholders to resolve site issues.
    • Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
    • Implement quality control procedures and ensure workmanship meets required standards.
    • Manage site logistics including materials, equipment, and workforce.
    • Track project costs and assist in budget management and cost control.

     Ensure post orders are kept up to date and are aligned with this procedure and that access control security officers have a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities accordingly.
    Ensure proper management and achieving of all authorized gate passes
    Ensure access control and search procedures and related policies are in line with company objectives and all applicable laws.
    Ensure all items brought on site are properly declared as per site standards.
    Carry out any instructions as directed by the Surveillance supervisor.
    Shall be responsible and accountable for maintaining, communicating and achieving all surveillance and access control related reports.
    Monitor access control and resolve anomalies.
    Ensuring all security equipment at the access point is maintained, secured and in working order.
    Supervise visitor management system operations
    Direct Physical supervision of Arm Secure checkpoint officers.
    Responsible for all safety related matters at the checkpoint.
    Verification and approval of all Gate passes presented at checkpoints.
    Hardcopy Filling and digital Capturing of all Gate passes.

    To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:

    Full Grade Twelve School Certificate
    Minimum Certificate in security or social science related discipline.
    At least 2 years’ experience in security Surveillance and access control operations.
    Must be computer literate and knowledgeable in security systems i.e. Genetec security Centre.
    Holder of a valid Zambian driver’s license.
    Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
